I have been obsessed with gold jewellery for many years now. It’s only when it comes to rings, that I opt for any other colours or materials. I find that gold jewellery is something that compliments my darker features and so when Wolf & Gypsy reached out to collaborate. I was more than eager to climb on board.

When picking out a piece to review, I wanted something fairly simple and not too fussy. I’m someone who will often wear earrings over a necklace due to the fact that I own so many earrings and not enough necklaces. This Two Sister’s Coin Necklace definitely caught my eye and I love the design of a single pendant on a chain. What I also loved about it, was the reasoning behind it.
Known as the goddess coin, this is symbolic of powerful women. It’s considered to empower any woman that the pendant is gifted to and you know I’m all about the empowerment of women. It’s one that’s simple in its design but also stands out at the same time. The dainty chain isn’t fussy and allows more focus to land on the pendant itself, rather than anything else.
It’s sterling silver plated with Gold Vermeil. For that reason alone, it’s important you take good care in looking after it. It came in a gorgeous cream case but as I already have a jewellery box, I recycled this. In terms of its length, I went for a medium-sized chain which in relation to where it sits, is around the bottom of my collar bone.
it would certainly make for a Christmas gift to either your partner or a bestie. I love that it’s titled as the Two Sisters because I feel that this would be something I’d give a best friend (or sister if I had one). The necklace also comes in silver if preferred.
Wolf & Gypsy do some absolutely stunning pieces and they also offer a range of vintage and custom-made items. When wearing this necklace, I opted for a black outfit as I feel the gold really works well with a darker colour. I also think this would look gorgeous with a white or cream ensemble too.
It’s definitely a casual, day-to-day necklace but Wolf & Gypsy recommend layering this with other necklace lengths on their website, so be sure to check out what they suggest when browsing.
